Editorial Aspect of Speech Therapy Poems in Picture Books

The article indicates editorial and typographic aspects of publications containing poems about rehabilitative speech therapy. The attention was paid to the readability of paidial education of sound oppositions, the abecedarius, the meaning of the sound-letter or the absence of articulation of initial
and final sounds, etc. Publications of contemporary Polish poets – Marcin Brykczyński, Agnieszka Frączek, Elżbieta Szwajkowska and Witold Szwajkowski, and Marta Galewska-Kustra – have been analyzed.
The discussion is an attempt to editorially analyze several selected volumes of speech therapy poems, which allows to indicate the aspects of evaluation for the buyers of such editions. Publishers will, in turn, recommend relevant solutions in the field of typography design for such publications.
