Keywords:
surdologopedic therapy, orthophonic exercises, speech defects in hard-of-hearing children,, intelligibility of utterances of hard-of-hearing childrenAbstract
The article discusses articulation problems of hard-of-hearing school-age children that significantly diminish the intelligibility of their utterances, and are nevertheless not subjected to direct speech-therapy measures, and sometimes even resulting from improper corrective procedures. The study is a proposal for increasing the level of intelligibility of utterances through the consistent and long-term use of orthophonic exercises aimed to improve specific deficits that limit the possibilities of communication.
